This pattern may work well in mixed High and Low Contextual Communication, Monochronic and Polychonic Time, Long and Short Time, and Universal and Particular Standard cultures.

Breakdow:

Students communicate synchronously in chat sessions. Remote collaborators seem to be uneasy making fast decisions and avoid direct answers to a current problem. The local team is getting nervous and pushes to make dicisions. The remote partners cannot follow the pace and collaboration breaks down.
